Flame Resistant Clothing for Optimal Protection

Our flame resistant clothing available in Indura® and Indura®UltraSoft® offers the perfect combination of protection, comfort, and durability for workers in the chemical, oil, gas, electrical, and petrochemical industries. Individuals who are exposed to ferrous metals and electric arc flashes would also benefit from the protection of this clothing. Other flame resistant clothing is avaialble in Nomex IIIA, Nomex filament, Vinex, or PBI Triguard on a special order basis. Shirts are styled after the Red Kap SEW2NV, SEW2LB, SLW2KH, SLW2LB, SLW2NV, SLS2NV style. Pants are designed in the Red Kap PEW2NV, PEW2VG, and PLW2NV style.

All FR clothing offer optimal body protection in the following ways:

• Meets the NFPA 2112, 2113 standard  (this standard specifies performance requirements and test methods for flame resistant fabric and garments to ensure long-lasting protection)
• Underwriters Laboratories approval has been achieved for most stocked flame resistant clothing.
• Protection ranges from CAT 1 to CAT 2
• Material is purchased from only reputable sources, such as Milliken (Westex).

SUSTAINED DURABILITY

By blending a small amount of nylon to the cotton of Indura® products, long standing durability is achieved while also maintaining the comfort that so many workers who work in industries where they are exposed to ferrous metals and electric arc flashes crave.  The flame resistant properties that have been added to all Indura® material is guaranteed for the lifetime of the flame resistant clothing.

MAXIMUM COMFORT

The 88% cotton content in the Indura FR garments ensure maximum comfort.  Even greater comfort is achieved from Indura Ultra Soft with a soft, brushed texture.  The majority of the cotton content in both of these flame resistant garments allow for breathability and wicks persperation off of individuals in hot, sweaty settings.
